No Jackpots In 2010
The year has gotten off to a slow start for US online casino players. Two days into 2010, and still there have been no major jackpots to report. Players are hoping that the rest of the year does not follow a similar trend.

In defense of the online casinos, there were plenty of jackpots hit before the calendar turned to the new year. In the week between Christmas and New Year’s, a handful of players celebrated jackpot wins.

Although there are no jackpots to make players happy, that does not mean that there is a lack of activity at online casinos. Several casinos on the Vegas Technologies network are holding big slot tournaments.

For players outside the US, it has been business as usual at online casinos. There have been fourteen jackpots hit around the world in the past twenty-four hours. Many of these jackpots have come on the Microgaming network of online casinos.

The new year promises to be one of the best ever for online players. US lawmakers are expected to discuss legislation that would regulate online gambling in the country. That would allow some of the biggest casinos in the world to pursue a US online gaming license.
