Only 500 of the new Lexus sports cars will be produced, and that has gamblers hoping they can get their hands on one of the priceless automobiles. With the new car already sold out, it will take some maneuvering to gain control of one of these cars.

The new two-seat LFA has been touted by Lexus as being a sports car of the future. It pushes the envelope for a brand that has led the way in luxury automobiles, but even though it is different than the normal Lexus, it comes with some of the same safety and comfort features that buyers seek.

The majority of the 500 cars that were sold were done so in Europe. That will bring an interesting element for anyone looking to acquire one of the rare cars. Gambling in Europe is extremely popular, and according to some, the new LFA may become a pawn in the gamblers’ game.

“Many of the high rollers in the world come from Europe,” said Gaming Analyst Bill Stippo. “I can see a scenario where a card game could be taking place, and one of these rare cars is wagered on a hand. Anything rare is usually a taregt of the high roller gamblers.”

Lexus had developed a commercial that was labeled the “perfect pitch.” There were several phases to the advertisement scheme, but having the cars sold out at a price of $375,000 a piece makes the commercial less important at this time.

The new sports car from Lexus is powered by a 4.8-liter V10 engine. The car costs three times as much as the Porsche 911 GT3, and is almost double the price of the Ferrari 458 Italia.
